It was long...and fast. But finally, I was able to finish my art piece. After a lot of sanding and polishing, I colored on my piece. I put colors like rainbow at first. That image from the sunset of Bakersfield. And then I covered it with several kind of white. And sanding again, covered with other color and used flower pattern and.. my piece got a lot of layers as a result, include my thought. The last process is coating with clear, shiny material. It worked well. And I got new idea. So I want to experiment and try it to next piece.
My..no..Our (I believe that a lot of people will agree to use this expression because I have not made this piece alone, I got a lot of support from a lot of peoples by many ways.) Our piece "the stream through a human vessel" was placed between library and cafeteria of the school, otherwise near by the building named "Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs." https://youtu.be/d-sJXHPccU0 https://youtu.be/zgBBoP1w13o
The main professor of this program and technical staff made special name-plate for this artwork. Thank you! Oh, I got cute nick name. Yes, of course you can call me "Sachiko" or "Miki". My name became "Sachiko -MINI- Miki." This came from small mistyped and my place. I live in the city that has "Tokyo Disney Land." ...hahaha^o^...So please call me "Mini!" I guess it's easier to call for many people.
Many people gathered to celebrate to open this art piece. I was so happy. I got new idea, found subject, learned a lot..and everyone said me similar things that I felt, like they learned a lot of things, knew new way to make art, etc. Thank you very much for all ! I'll come back again with better skill, artwork, personality in the future!
